Artist Statement:

"The path to voting was an uphill battle for many. There were struggles along the way, including inequality as a predominant issue. Once the 15th amendment was released, finally, there was hope given to the United States for almost everyone who was of age to vote. Even though the path before was a long one, once that ballot is submitted, you’ve made a difference. Your vote matters."
