Artist Statement:

"As a future voter, the 15th Amendment is important to me. I modeled the hands in my sculpture from my own hands. In the first picture, there are 15 hands.  Some of them are holding replicas of old fashioned ballots. In the second picture, I chose to include my own hand because I plan to vote as soon as I’m old enough."
