Artist Statement:

"I really like Architecture and making mini models, so this was a perfect opportunity for me. It takes place in a gym and the people are voting in little voting booths. I made the people out of cut out magazine faces and glued them to popsicle sticks. Then I made tiny little masks for them. The voting booths are made out of paper glued to chipboard. Then I stuck toothpicks to the bottom, then I drew the flags and “vote” on the paper. Plus for the booths I made tiny little pencils that are the size of your thumb nail. I also made tiny little paper ballots. The basketball hoop is made of toothpicks glued together, then I took a clear plastic sheet and put white lines on it. I put different races of people to go with the 15th amendment theme. I am super proud of it. I hope you guys like it a lot."
